Better brewing through science.
1. Add the following to a 3 quart pot:
-6 eggs
-3/4 cup sugar
-1 dash of salt
-1 tsp Vanilla extract
-1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
-1 cup Half n Half
-1 quart Whole Milk
-1 tsp ground nutmeg
2. Bring the entire mixture to 160ºF while whisking.
3. Once 160ºF is achieved, remove from heat and allow to cool. Refrigerate once cool to touch.
4. Drink as is or make an eggnog cocktail:
Eggnog Cocktail
1. Add the following to a shaker:
-1/2 shot Zaya Rum
-1 shot Elijiah Craig Bourbon
-6-8 oz of Eggnog to taste
2. Garnish with nutmeg on top.
