Better brewing through science.
This cough syrup is for adults. It really works! If you drink this, it is very difficult to stay awake. I tried to make variations on this recipe, but they all lacked the potency that the original one has.
1. Heat 4 ounces of water to off boil. You can do this in the microwave.
2. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the water. I stick the lemon with a fork and squeeze the juice through the holes. Makes concocting easier when you don’t feel well.
3. Add 1 tablespoon of honey. Just eyeball it.
4. Add 2 ounces of bourbon.
5. Stir with a spoon and drink while hot.
6. Go to bed.
